into kindergarten cubbies and slots
feel like a 5 year old drooling on his shirt
groping at life with a tendency of getting hurt
scraped knees, climbin trees, stinged by bees
hide n seeks out in the streets no boundaries
dusty evenings and afternoons
lazy rollins in soft dirt laughin at how dizziness glooms
and wondering how happiness blooms
a rain of light pours into the room
puzzles of shade form what i assume
to be sliced by limbs of trees that loom
and soon my heart spills love onto
a drapery of dreams seemlessly strung askew the windows
of tall walls slinkied slung down vast halls
tunelled backwards in these eyes enthralled
innocence burning these hands to a scald
reaching for the fire as if it were nothing at all
and being burned up side round yearning for something so small
becoming so big it envelopes head to toe no matter how tall
a swing and a miss
falling in an endlessy deepening abyss
no feeling is just this
of an absolute stop
of sitting atop
a wavering tree
swaying in a breeze
stars branching out over all one see’s
